.case domain

On June 5, 2023, the new .case top-level domain (TLD) from Digity Registry started its Sunrise Phase. It is now possible to register your trademarked names through the control panel.

.case is the new domain extension for the legal industry. It is a suitable choice for lawyers, attorneys, law firms, law graduates, and legal education facilities, among others. It is an unrestricted domain, which could also make it an interesting option for professionals in different fields, including healthcare, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and others.

There will be no special requirements in place to register a .case domain name. Domain names can be between 1 and 63 characters in length, and the registration period can be anywhere between 1-10 years. IDN registrations are expected to be permitted. We will share more information about this in a later phase.

Launch phases and pricing for .case

The launch phases of .case will be as follows:

  • General Availability: from August 4, 2023 onwards.

  • Domain name(s) to register.

During General Availability, the Member price for registrations, renewals, and transfers will be $2,000/year (excluding the ICANN fee). The price of restoring a .case domain name will be $500. You will be able to consult the prices for non-members in the control panel as soon as this domain is available.
